My name is Sarah and I have been living and working in Edinburgh since February 2009, having previously worked from my own clinic in the Highlands. I now work from Aditi Yoga Centre and do On-site massage in various businesses in the city.
Having lived with Chronic Fatigue for 7 years, I found massage was one of the few things that gave me relief from my symptoms and contributed hugely to my recovery. As a result, I find I can easily empathise with clients affected by chronic pain or conditions and also know first hand the benefits that massage can offer.
As well as clinic and corporate work, I am employed as massage therapist for the Edinburgh rugby team. I am also lucky enough to have worked with the Italian National Rugby Squad and with various international teams at the Rugby Sevens Final. I am also a member of Athletes' Angels, providing massage at outdoor sporting events throughout Scotland.
I am fortunate that my work has allowed me to combine learning new skills with adventure! In 2010 I spent 3 months in Thailand, training in Thai Massage. I am now a qualified teacher of Thai Massage. I have also toured North Carolina and Slovenia with Edinburgh-based Irish Dance company Absolutely Legless as their on-site massage therapist.
I feel extremely lucky to be able to do a job that I feel truly passionate about, and gives me so much satisfaction. I particularly enjoy working with such a wide variety of clients, ranging from pregnant ladies to professional athletes, and watching them all benefit from what massage can offer.
