My name is Sarah and I have been living and working in Edinburgh since February 2009, having previously worked from my own clinic in the Highlands. I now offer massage in the following clinics in Edinburgh: Aditi Yoga Centre, Health for Life Chiropractic and The Whole Works. I also do corporate massage in various businesses in the city.
Having lived with Chronic Fatigue for 7 years, I found massage was one of the few things that gave me relief from my symptoms and contributed hugely to my recovery. As a result, I find I can easily empathise with clients affected by chronic pain or conditions and also know first hand the benefits that massage can offer.
I am always keen to expand my knowledge and experience and have become a self-confessed “Course Junkie”! In January 2010, I travelled to Thailand to train for 11 weeks in Thai Massage at the Institute of Thai Massage in Chiang Mai, and I am now a qualified practitioner and Teacher of Thai massage. My training will continue this year with a course in Advanced Remedial Massage.
I am a member of HeadandFoot.co.uk, a group of practitioners working throughout Edinburgh and Lothian. As well as clinic work, I also enjoy working at sporting events all over Scotland with Athletes' Angels.
I feel extremely lucky to be able to do a job that gives me so much satisfaction. I particularly enjoy working with such a wide variety of clients, ranging from pregnant ladies to marathon runners, and watching them all benefit from what massage can offer!
